This amazing daybed was fully restored, keeping the integrity of this unique piece of furniture, which probably dates back over 100 years. The seat lifts up from either side like magic! We covered it in a red-orange cut velvet, whilst carefully keeping the original stuffing and other elements in place and hand-stitching the headrest. My upholsterer took his time, and his skill in bringing his piece to life is superb.
